President of Abkhazia Badra Gunba assessed the scientific potential of the BSMU

The official delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia under the leadership of President Badra Gunba visited Bashkiria. The delegation of Abkhazia visited the Interuniversity Student Campus of the Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center.

Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrei Nazarov presented to the guests the infrastructure of the campus — a modern space that combines science, education and advanced technologies. The program of the visit included a tour of the iconic sites of the campus: the delegations showed the genomic center, laboratories, as well as the space of School 21+. The delegations said that students and specialists of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia, within the framework of a unique joint educational program implemented by the Bashkir State Medical University, School 21, Sechenov University and Sberbank, are mastering digital skills that are in demand in modern science and clinical practice.

The guests were especially interested in the development of scientists from our University. Badra Gunba talked to scientists from additive technology laboratories and small targeted molecules. The delegation noted the high scientific potential and assessed the possibilities for expanding cooperation.

President of the Republic of Abkhazia Badra Gunba noted that relations between Bashkortostan and the Republic of Abkhazia have always been distinguished by warmth and fraternal unity.
