'I'm honoured to be standing on this stage today. And, taking this opportunity, on behalf of all students from India, I express my deep gratitude to Bashkortostan, which warmly received us on its land - hospitable, beautiful, rich. We are immensely grateful to the Bashkir State Medical University, its teachers, who generously share their knowledge in the field of theoretical and practical medicine every day, as well as the Department of the Russian language, thanks to which I now stand on this stage and speak the great, mighty, free and truthful Russian language. Many thanks to the Council of Russians of the Republic of Bashkortostan for organizing this interesting and significant event, where we, foreign students, can more closely touch Russian culture and its integral part - the Russian language. Studying the Russian language, we are getting closer to understanding the riddle of the Russian soul, the greatness of the Russian people and the power of the country that we managed to love. We hope that it is mutual," Sharma Vibhav Kousthuba Vidyapathi, a student, addressed those present.
The conference was attended by a first-year medical student from Botswana, Losika Realeboga Tselaesele (GM-112B). She presented a report on the topic "The use of somatic phraseologisms in Russian and English".
The event was organized by the Regional Public Organization "Assembly of Russians of Bashkortostan" with the support of the Grants Fund of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, it is aimed at preserving and developing the Russian language, as well as the languages of the peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
