The Institute of Fundamental Medicine hosted the student scientific competition "Interdisciplinary Academic Challenge: Medicine and Language"

The Institute of Fundamental Medicine of the Bashkir State Medical University hosted the student scientific competition "Interdisciplinary Academic Challenge: Medicine and Language," organized by the Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication, the Department of Neurology and the Department of Pathological Physiology. The event was attended by foreign students who presented scientific reports in English on topical issues of neurology, pathological physiology, medical terminology and professional communication in healthcare.

According to the results of the work of the jury, the prizes were distributed as follows:

1st place - Ruzbeh Rozhina (St-301a IN), Suri Zahra (St-301a IN), Vansh (L-335a IN);

2nd place - Abdi Hafsa Shukri (L-301a IN), Md Zishan (L-301a IN), Nadim Saif (L-301b IN);

3rd place - Bashush Aya (St-101b IN), Gradu Nariman (St-101b IN), Mubashir (L-301b IN).

The competition was held in a friendly and professional atmosphere. Participants demonstrated a high level of English proficiency, scientific analysis skills, ability to present research results and lead a scientific discussion. The competition contributed to the development of scientific activity of foreign students, strengthening interdisciplinary cooperation and increasing the interest of students in research activities in the field of medicine and language communication.
