The Department of Foreign Languages hosted the interuniversity student competition "Chit-Chat Chai" among Russian and foreign students of Ufa universities

On May 19, 2026, at the Department of Foreign Languages, the interuniversity student competition "Chit-Chat Chai" was held among Russian and foreign students of Ufa universities, organized by the teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages Golami Hamideh Hassan. The event was aimed at introducing the cultural heritage of different peoples through the prism of a tea ceremony. The competition was attended by students from both Russian citizens and students from the CIS countries and India of two universities: BSMU and UUST. Participants prepared presentations on national methods of brewing and symbolism of tea and traditions of hospitality. As a result of the competition, winners were awarded who vividly represented the tea traditions of their country.
