BSMU delegation took part in the Russian-Chinese EXPO in Harbin

The jubilee X Russian-Chinese EXPO was held in Harbin (China). The event is recognized as the most important trade and industrial platform that contributes to the expansion and diversification of the partnership between Russia and China. EXPO traditionally includes a large-scale exhibition exposition, which presents stands of Russian and Chinese companies, expositions of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the provinces of China. One of the main advantages of Russian-Chinese EXPO remains the opportunity to present the investment potential of one of the most powerful economies in the world.

The delegation of the Bashkir State Medical University was represented by employees of the University and the Clinic:

- Naufal Zagidullin - Head of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases

- Alfia Pushkareva - Chief Doctor of the Cardiology Service of the BSMU Clinic;

- Elena Badykova - Associate Professor of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases;

- Albert Gilemkhanov - doctor of the Clinic of the Bashkir State Medical University, assistant of the department of hospital and cardiovascular surgery;

- Nikita Kasyanov is a trainee doctor at the BSMU Clinic.

A round table was held at the site of Harbin Polytechnic University, at which participants discussed Russian-Chinese cooperation and joint training in the development and implementation of high technologies. As part of the section "Research on the health of the population in different climatic zones and innovations in digital health management", Professor Naufal Zagidullin made presentations. He spoke about the possibilities of cooperation between Russia and China in the field of research on cardiovascular diseases.

As a part of the EXPO, the BSMU delegation shared its experience in the field of cardiology, diagnostics and treatment of cardiovascular diseases with colleagues from the hospital of Harbin Medical University.

The parties agreed to develop cooperation in two priority areas:

- Collaborative research in cardiology,

- Digital population health management.

It is planned to sign a memorandum of scientific partnership, launch joint publications, organize internships for young scientists and doctors, as well as conduct online seminars and conferences.
