Neurologists from partner universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan held classes in neurology for students of BSMU

The Department of Neurology is completing a training cycle in which two famous doctors of medical sciences, professors-neurologists from partner universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part: Aziza Dzhurabekova from Samarkand and Ibadulla Kilichev from Urgench worked with students together with BSMU professor Leila Akhmadeeva these days.

Students listened to lecture fragments with great interest, discussed clinical cases of frequent and rare, including hereditary, diseases of the nervous system, presented by Uzbek colleagues in the framework of problematic trainings, successfully completed tasks for independent work on topics presented during the cycle, participated in live online discussions in real time, asking interesting questions to foreign teachers, learned what is common and how approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of nervous diseases in Russia and Uzbekistan differ, as well as non-CIS countries where teachers studied and worked.

Fourth-year students of the Faculty of General Medicine expressed the opinion that such programs of academic mobility with experienced professors from different universities of the world are very interesting for them and add a lot of new things to the approaches that are used in everyday practice.
