BSMU Department of Neurology continues international academic mobility programs

At the beginning of May, 2026, Professor of the Department of Neurology Leyla Akhmadeeva conducted a series of classes in English and Russian for students of the Grodno State Medical University (GMU) in the Republic of Belarus under the academic mobility program. Issues of movement disorders, pain syndromes, acute cerebrovascular accidents, as well as additional topics including asthenia, research methodology, hippotherapy, etc. were discussed with students and teachers of the State Medical University at three clinical bases of the State Medical University. Cooperation with colleagues from Grodno continues. So, at the international conference on diseases of the nervous system and the organ of vision, which will be held by BSMU in a hybrid format in the conference hall "Eye" of the center "Alloplant" on May 19, 2026, the head of the Department of Medical Rehabilitation of the State Medical University Sergey Vasilevsky will speak. Teachers of the Bashkir State Medical University and the Grodno State Medical University have been cooperating for several years, including on academic mobility programs, have joint publications, and are preparing new articles together.

For May and June 2026, The Department of Neurology of the Bashkir State Medical University has planned to include work on incoming academic mobility programs with professors from Uzbekistan in the lesson plan (Ibadulla Kilichev, Aziza Dzhurabekova, Shakhlo Akhrorova) and Kazakhstan (Aigul Utepkalieva) and the participation of colleagues from the above countries, as well as from partner universities of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan in scientific and educational conferences held by our university, including XXXV university neurological readings, which will be held on June 18, 2026 in a hybrid format (preliminary program and the link for the connection is provided below).
