The University hosted a poetry competition "Memory is needed alive"

On the eve of the celebration of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, foreign students of the Bashkir State Medical University took part in a poetry competition dedicated to the memory of the Great Victory. The event was organized by the Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication at the Interuniversity Campus.

More than 80 students from India, Iran, Egypt, Namibia and other countries took part in the competition. Foreign students told by heart the poems of Robert Rozhdestvensky, Musa Jalil, Konstantin Simonov, Alexander Tvardovsky, Andrei Dementiev, Anna Akhmatova, Vladimir Vysotsky, Yulia Drunina, Sergei Sukhonin, Bulat Okudzhava and other poets about the events of the Great Patriotic War, performed songs of the war period.
