A strategic working meeting was held in a remote format between the leadership of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia (BSMU) and the delegation of the Pharmaceutical College of Harbin Medical University, headed by academician Jan Baofen.
A large-scale meeting was held under the auspices of the development of international scientific cooperation. The meeting was attended by Rector, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Valentin Nikolaevich Pavlov, acting Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Affairs Ruslan Radikovich Ischemgulov, Head of International Affairs Ruslan Vakhitovich Abdrakhimov, as well as leading professors and heads of departments of pharmaceutical, chemical and medical profiles.
Of particular interest to Chinese colleagues were the reports of scientists from the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia, which are direct evidence of the effectiveness of joint educational programs.
The speaker from the Russian side was Gulnara Maratovna Tuguzbaeva, acting Head of the Department of Pathological Physiology. As a graduate of the prestigious PhD program of Harbin Medical University, she presented a report on her current scientific and professional activities within the walls of BSMU.
Dinislam Radikovich Khuzin, Associate Professor of the Department of General Chemistry, also spoke about his achievements in the framework of post-doctoral studies (Post-doc) at Harbin University. He shared the results of research on the effect of floridin derivatives on hyperlipidemia - an urgent problem in modern cardiology and pharmacology.
The meeting participants discussed the current state and promising directions for further activities in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacology.
It is noteworthy that at the meeting the Russian side was partly represented by a "person on the spot." Professor Valery Alekseevich Kataev is currently on a working visit to Harbin Medical University. His business trip is aimed at practically strengthening cooperation with Chinese partners and developing promising areas in the development of new drugs.
