Lectures for scientific residents of BSMU were given by a professor from Vienna

The invited expert was Rudolf Valenta, a professor at the Medical University of Vienna, a world famous scientist in the field of molecular allergology and immunology.

During educational meetings, the professor presented a course of lectures on the topic "From mechanisms to innovative forms of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of allergy." The training program will cover modern ideas about the molecular and cellular mechanisms of the development of allergic diseases, the latest approaches to targeted therapy, methods of component diagnostics, as well as innovative strategies for prevention and personalized medicine. The participation of an expert of this level allows residents to directly familiarize themselves with the world's leading research protocols and clinical trends.

Recall that the BSMU is successfully implementing a scientific residency program. It is designed to train highly qualified personnel capable of organically combining clinical practice with active research activities. The educational track includes in-depth study of fundamental disciplines, work in scientific laboratories and clinical bases of the republic.

The ambassador of this program is a leading world-renowned scientist: head of the department of innate immunity and immunological tolerance at the University of Heidelberg, professor at BSMU Julia Georgievna Kzhyshkovska.

An important component of the program is the opportunity for residents to regularly listen to lectures and participate in discussions with eminent domestic and foreign scientists. Such interaction not only expands the professional outlook, but also contributes to immersion in relevant research and building international academic contacts. The key stage of training within the framework of the scientific residency program is the implementation of scientific projects. Under the guidance of curators and scientific mentors, residents develop new implants, update the protocol for digital forecasting of orthopedic treatment, create a new unit of density in pancreatic diseases, determine the role of the microbiome in various periods of the course of infectious diseases, etc.
