BSMU and TSMU named after Abuali ibni Sino held a student conference on the language of medicine

On May 4, Bashkir State Medical University together with Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali ibni Sino held a conference for foreign students "The language of medicine and medicine in the language: current problems in medical linguistics" with international participation. The conference was held within the framework of the scientific club "Student Medical Linguistics" of the Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

The scientific event was attended by foreign students from Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Angola, Mauritania, Namibia, studying in Russian at the medical and dental faculties of the University. The conference helped students to look at medicine from the point of view of linguistics: the conference participants were engaged in research of the medical language, comparing the Russian language with their native languages — Tajik, Turkmen, Azerbaijani, Portuguese, French, Arabic, English, Vietnamese.

Each performance was judged by a jury. The prizes were distributed as follows:

3rd place - Kerkub Ahmed Salem, L-111A, Muhammedova Altyn, L-220B, Ufa.
