BSMU hosted a student competition "Medical Communication in a Global Intercultural Context: Challenges and Prospects"

On April 25, a student scientific competition "Medical Communication in a Global Intercultural Context: Challenges and Prospects" was held at Bashkir State Medical University. The organizers were the Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication of BSMU ("Linking Science" scientific club) and Samarkand State Medical University.

The event was held in a hybrid format with the participation of students from Ufa and Samarkand. Within the framework of the competition, reports were presented on medical communication, intercultural interaction and professional communication of a doctor.

As a result of the competition, the winners were:

BSMU (Ufa)

1st place - Md Zishan "Associative proper name fields as a reflection of public perception," (L-301a in)

2nd place - Neha "Names of new medical professions in modern Russian" (L-403A in);

3rd place - Mahsin Ahamed "Medical fake and its linguistic realization" (L-204a in).

Samarkand State Medical University

1st place - Pardaev Sunnatillo, Ahmad Danish;

2nd place - Shekhovtsova Maria;

3rd place - Muhammadieva Raikhona, Rakhimov Hafizjon.

The competition has become an important platform for the exchange of scientific experience and the strengthening of international cooperation in the field of medical education.
