Start of the year with sports: BSMU hosts a large-scale Sports Festival

New Year's holidays at the Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU) are a time not only for rest, but also for a bright sports life. Traditionally, these days a large-scale Sports Festival starts at the university, which unites hundreds of students, energizing them with energy and healthy excitement for the upcoming semester.

Future doctors from the first days of the new year demonstrate excellent form and team spirit, participating in various competitions.

The festival amazes with the variety of sports disciplines, where everyone can find something to their liking:

On the ice: Students conquer the ice arena with friendly matches and fun starts;

In the water: Marathon swims are held in the pool of the Dynamo sports complex;

On the track: Winter sports enthusiasts compete in outdoor cross-country skiing. The start of the competition was given by the rector of BSMU, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor Valentin Pavlov.

In the renovated gym on Repin Street, exciting battles are unfolding in this traditionally unusual sport for Russia - cricket.
