As a part of the IV International EuroAsian Forum of Internal Medicine Doctors, Bashkir State Medical University and the State Institution "Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical
Center for Therapy and Medical Rehabilitation" (Uzbekistan) signed an agreement on academic and scientific cooperation.
The signing of the agreement was attended by the rector of BSMU, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor Valentin Nikolaevich Pavlov and Chief Specialist in Therapy of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, head of the Pulmonology scientific laboratory, senior researcher, MD, professor Dilor Alimovna Rakhimova.
"In our republican center there are departments of Tashkent State Medical University, where students, specialists receive not only scientific knowledge, but also practical skills. In cooperation with BSMU, we plan to conduct academic mobility and exchange scientific achievements in the field of therapy, developing the scientific and educational potential of our republics," Dilor Alimovna Rakhimova said.
As part of the agreement, the parties plan to implement joint research and training programs, jointly create teaching aids, materials and monographs on medicine, organize and conduct joint scientific and practical conferences and symposia.
Note that the Bashkir State Medical University is actively increasing cooperation with medical universities: more than 90 cooperation agreements have been concluded with European and Asian universities. 18 agreements have already been concluded with Uzbekistan aimed at developing cooperation in the field of medical education and science. Today, 43 students from Uzbekistan study at BSMU.
