IV International Eurasian Forum of Internal Medicine Doctors brought together leading doctors in Ufa

On November 11, the IV International Eurasian Forum of Internal Medicine Doctors started in Ufa. The forum was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Bashkir State Medical University and the Association of Therapists of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The scientific program of the forum is attended by 20 main freelance specialists of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Republic of Tatarstan, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Volga Federal District and other regions of Russia, as well as guests from Belarus, Uzbekistan and Turkey. Participants also include general practitioners, general practitioners, cardiologists, gastroenterologists, rheumatologists, rehabilitologists, pulmonologists, neurologists, nephrologists, endocrinologists, gerontologists, hematologists, clinical pharmacologists, health care organizers, residents, graduate students and senior students.

"Thanks to the rapid development of science and technology, it is difficult to place the entire scale of existing knowledge in the field of one specialist. The doctor very often works with comorbid patients, so it is quite problematic to provide high-quality medical care based only on your knowledge. When dealing with a complex patient, there is a multidisciplinary team, where each doctor strengthens the expertise of the other - this is the key to success. With competent laboratory diagnostics, doctors will be invincible heroes at all. For me at this event, hematological and therapeutic areas are most important. Such forums help us see and learn from experience, establish cooperation. We have already discussed possible cooperation with the Bashkir State Medical University in the field of hemophilia to develop software for electronic recording of the number of bleeding," Svetlana Dubovskaya, hematologist, hemosthesiologist at the Minsk Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology said.

Valentin Pavlov awarded the title "Honorary Doctor of BSMU" to Professor Yuri Belenkov.

On the first day of the forum, a discussion will take place at the scientific and educational round table "Human microbiome and its importance in an integrative approach to the practice of an internal medicine doctor".

An exhibition of pharmaceutical companies, a job fair for doctors, an exhibition of sanatorium-resort opportunities of the Republic of Bashkortostan are deployed at the forum site. A quest and prize drawing are organized for the participants.
