Harbin Medical University Delegation Visited Bashkir State Medical University

A delegation of leading surgeons from Harbin Medical University visited Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU) as part of the II Eurasian Forum of Colorectal Surgery, which is held on April 24, and lasts for two days.

During their visit, the delegation explored BSMU's scientific and educational facilities, including laboratories at the Interuniversity Student Campus, the Institute of Fundamental Medicine, the Institute of Urology and Clinical Oncology, and the BSMU Clinic.

The delegation, led by Professor Wang Guyu, head of the colorectal oncology department at Harbin Medical University, met with BSMU Rector, Professor Valentin Pavlov, to discuss the long-standing partnership between the two institutions. They focused on enhancing collaboration in international student training and joint research initiatives.

On the eve of the visit, in an official letter, the Vice President of Harbin Medical University, Professor Xu Wanhai, to the Rector Of BSMU expressed hopes that this visit would strengthen future cooperation in medical education and research.
