BSMU hosted a poetry competition for foreign students "Colors of my autumn"
On November 29, 2024, the Bashkir State Medical University hosted a large-scale poetry competition "Colors of My Autumn," organized by the Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication and the Dean's Office of the International Faculty. The project was dedicated to popularizing reading among foreign students, developing the ability to present oneself to a wide audience and teaching the art of oratory. The main task of the event was to instill in students a love of fiction, music and creativity in its various manifestations.
The competition was attended by more than 100 students from Iran, India, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Algeria, Egypt with philosophical and landscape lyrics, with poems and songs dedicated to friendship, childhood, love for the homeland, family. At the competition, foreign students from near and far abroad recited poems, performed musical works that amazed them and whose beauty they tried to "infect" their peers, and with them the jury members.
The event took place at three venues: in the hall of digital medicine and on two floors of the University in the Interuniversity student campus of the Eurasian REC of the world level. The situation itself pushed students to victory, gave creative inspiration. Each student was supervised and supported by experienced and caring teachers of the department.
Diplomas of the 1st degree were awarded to:
- Vincent Wolf Johnson (L-402A IN),
- Samire (L - 3 Sat.),
- Abdelazim Ziad Mohamed (L-414B IN, nomination "Poem"),
- Yatnatti Sumanu Mahantesh (L-313A IN).
Diplomas of the II degree received:
- Sharipov Nurmukhammad (L-223A),
- Kashish Chugh (L-410B IN),
- Mohammad Sharib (L-404B IN),
- Abdelazim Ziad Mohamed (L-414B IN; nomination "Song").
Diplomas of the III degree were awarded:
- Kandpal Arihant, Sanjeevani Jiya, Neha Motilal Patil, Nupur Raghunandan Bhujbal of the IN L-332A group,
- Raj Patel (L-416A IN),
- Shadan (L-414A IN),
- Arya Sunam (L-313B IN).
More than 300 students attended the competition as spectators. The new experience brought students unforgettable impressions, caused positive emotions, which found expression in positive responses after the event. During the competition, listeners got acquainted with the poetry of A.S. Pushkin, A.A. Feta, S.A. Yesenin, M.I. Tsvetaeva, R.I. Rozhdestvensky, M. Karim, enjoyed the songs of I. Sklyar, S. Pavliashvili and others.
The traditional autumn poetry competition "Colors of My Autumn" has come to an end, but ahead of the students are new, no less exciting events organized by the Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication: a poetry evening dedicated to Valentine's Day, the Festival of Languages and many others.
