BSMU signed a cooperation agreement with the Tashkent Medical Academy

The documents were signed by the rector of BSMU, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Pavlov Valentin Nikolaevich and acting rector of the Tashkent Medical Academy Boimuradov Shukhrat Abduzhalilovich.

The parties agreed to develop cooperation in the field of medical education and medical science.

"Today Uzbekistan is developing very dynamically. Many of our universities are actively involved in this work. We have turned on so far, I would say, fundamentally. But they worked quite closely during the pandemic and our cooperation continues - the leadership of Uzbekistan pays special attention to the development of medical education, " said BSMU rector, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor Valentin Pavlov.

As part of the interaction, medical educational institutions of the two countries will carry out joint scientific projects in priority sectors of medical science, conduct scientific and educational events, programs of academic mobility among students and faculty. It also provides for the possibility of joint participation in grants.

"It is with great pleasure that we visit Bashkir State Medical University. We, as well as your University, have more than 15 thousand students, the faculty is 1,500 people. Classes at our academy are held in three languages and 30% of students study in Russian. We are open to cooperation," the acting rector of the Tashkent Medical Academy Boimuradov Shukhrat Abduzhalilovich greeted the members of the administration.

During the official visit of the delegation of the Tashkent Medical Academy, acting Rector Boymuradov Shukhrat Abduzhalilovich presented Valentin Pavlov with national attributes and a diploma of an honorary professor of the Tashkent Medical Academy.

Shukhrat Abduzhalilovich also met with students of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia, who came from the Republic of Uzbekistan to receive education at the Bashkir State Medical University. Now 76 students are studying at the university - citizens of Uzbekistan.
