Professor of Samarkand State Medical University within the framework of academic mobility visited BSMU
As part of the academic mobility of university teachers, BSMU was visited by the head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery No. 1, deputy. chief physician for science at the Specialized Children's Surgical Clinic of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Shukhrat Abdurasulovich Yusupov.
Academic mobility is recognized as a priority area for the development of universities and represents the most important element of the internationalization of higher education. BSMU, being a member of the federal program "Priority 2030," pays special attention to the development and establishment of international relations in order to increase research activities and update the methodological content of science.
On the first day of his stay, Professor Sh.A. Yusupov visited the Department of Pediatric Surgery of the BSMU on the basis of the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital, noting the powerful potential of scientific personnel and the medical base. With acting Department I.I. Galimov outlined a work plan during the days of Professor Sh. A. Yusupov, a series of lectures for students and residents was determined.
A lecture was given to 6th year students of the pediatric faculty, residents, where students got acquainted with the capabilities of the Specialized Children's Surgical Clinic of Samarkand Medical University, its priority areas and advanced medical technologies. At the lecture, Professor Shukhrat Abdurasulovich also shared his experience as a practicing pediatric surgeon, revealing several secrets of pediatric surgery. In turn, colleagues of the Department of Pediatric Surgery of the BSMU, MD, Associate Professor V.G. Alyangin and Ph.D., Associate Professor G.G. Latypova discussed the possibility HP cooperation with the Department of Pediatric Surgery No. 1 of Samarkand Medical University in the field of student scientific societies.
In the afternoon, Shukhrat Abdurasulovich met with the dean of the pediatric faculty, head of the department of hospital pediatrics V.A. Malievsky, during the meeting discussed the working points of the further program of academic mobility - lecturing for students of the junior courses of the pediatric faculty, in order to familiarize students with the history of medicine in the East, the rich heritage of Uzbekistan's culture and cooperation with Russia.
