Young scientists of the University took part in the event of the International Society of Urology in Italy

Representatives of the Bashkir State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia from among urologists and young scientists took part in the regional meeting of the International Society of Urologists for residents and graduate students, held in Florence (Italy). Resident doctors from Moscow, Krasnodar and Novosibirsk also took part. During the conference, young scientists got acquainted with the latest achievements in the field of diagnosis and modern methods of treatment of urological diseases.

Among the invited teachers of the event is Associate Professor of the Department of Urology and Oncology Linat Kutliyarov. Linat Minikhanovich was one of the moderators of the meeting "Surgery for BPO: when the going gets tough, the tough get going."

The SIU Regional Meeting for Residents represents a unique opportunity for global exchange, expanding international perspectives in training and education, and learning best practices in diagnosis, treatment and research from experts, while creating networks for future collaboration. In the future, it is planned to hold events for residents annually.
