BSMU students became winners and prize-winners of the Championship of the Republic of Bashkortostan in athletics cross-country
Competitions were held on October 5, 2024 in Ufa. It was attended by the strongest athletes of the republic, including the BSMU athletics team.
At a distance of 5 km in the age category born in 2002-2004 with a result of 21.37, a student of the Faculty of General Medicine Azalea Khudaiberdina (L-313 B) took 1st place and confirmed the 3rd category. Third-year medical student El Hiresh Hussam (L-301B IN) at a distance of 8 km with a score of 26.21 took 2nd place and confirmed the 1st category. Irina Elisova, a first-year student of the Faculty of Medicine, took 3rd place in the age group born in 2005-2006 and confirmed the 2nd category. Students of BSMU Adel Akkubekova (L-605), Victoria Yakovleva (L-511), Arseny Gusev (L-302) performed well and showed good results.
The winners of the race were awarded with diplomas and medals, as well as valuable prizes.
Congratulations to the athletes and coaches of the teacher of the Department of Physical Culture Ishmukhametov Ilgam Zinnurovich and the senior teacher of the Department of Physical Culture Gumerov Ilnur Ilshatovich and wish new victories!
The BSMU athletics team is a multiple champion of the Volga Federal District among medical and pharmaceutical universities in Russia and a prize-winner of the All-Russian final. Today, more than 100 students of the university are engaged in the athletics section.
