1,458 medical graduates from all over the world became residents of Bashkir Medical University

Admission to the residency programme of BSMU is completed.

This year 1458 people became residents of FSBEI HE BSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia. From them -1033 future doctors are graduates of BSMU.

255 people entered to master narrow medical specialities in BSMU, having received a specialist diploma in other medical universities of the country.

Graduates of more than 40 Russian medical universities, including Sechenov University, N.I. Pirogov RNIMU, I.P. Pavlov First St. Petersburg State Medical University, RUDN, Kazan State Medical University are enrolled in the residency programme of BSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

170 residents are foreign citizens from 17 countries of the world. The geography of future specialists with a doctor's diploma in the corresponding speciality of BSMU is wide: Ecuador, Uzbekistan, Uganda, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Somalia, Nigeria, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Yemen, Jordan, India, Egypt, Bangladesh, Armenia, Algeria, Azerbaijan and others.

Residency of BSMU gives wide opportunities in choosing a medical speciality. The University implements educational programmes in 77 directions of training

Residents showed the greatest interest to the specialities of paediatrics, stomatology, anaesthesiology - resuscitation, therapy. Young doctors also intend to master surgical specialities, obstetrics and gynaecology, urology and other areas.
