The University hosted a festival of selected sports among foreign students

More than 4000 foreign citizens - students from India, Colombia, Africa, Persian Gulf countries, Asia and Oceania and CIS countries - study at BSMU.

Bashkir Medical University has created all necessary conditions for organization of leisure time for foreign students during summer vacations.

Dinamo Stadium is the venue for the main sports and mass events.

Involvement of foreign students in sports and recreational activities during the summer vacation has become a good tradition of the University.

On July 13-14 the International cricket tournament among the hostels of BSMU took place.

8 teams of more than 100 students took part in the competition.

Tournament Results:

1st place - dormitory #4;

2nd place - dormitory #2;

3rd place - dormitory №1;

4th place - Eurasia-Rapicenter;

5th place - dormitory №6;

6th place - dormitory #5;

7th place - dormitory #3;

8th place - dormitory #7.

The winners and runners-up were awarded with cups.

The competitions on mini-football, volleyball, tug of war, swimming, badminton, mas-wrestling, track and field athletics and power lifting are ahead.

Daily training sessions are also organized for BSMU students on the basis of the swimming pool and fitness hall "Dinamo".
