From year to year Bashkir Medical University strengthens its status of a strong player on the world map of science and education.
BSMU is a participant of the Healthy Campus global project among 73 universities of the world. In Russia only 8 higher educational institutions are certified.
The project is realized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), which unites more than 170 national and 5 continental federations of university sports. The Healthy Campus global project is available to all universities worldwide.
Currently, 141 universities are registered in the project, but only 73 have been certified.
Last year the campus of Bashkir Medical University received the certificate of the global FISU program - Healthy Campus (Healthy / Safe Campus) and the status of a silver participant. The ambition is to increase the status and reach the gold level.
Soon the university will receive expert auditors within the framework of the FISU - Healthy Campus program and will compete for the status of a gold participant.
There are five statuses in total: certification (meeting 40-50 criteria) bronze (meeting 51-65 criteria), silver (meeting 66-80 criteria), gold (meeting 81-90 criteria) and platinum (meeting 91-100 criteria) - you can get them by completing each stage and being checked by FISU Healthy Campus representatives.
Silver certificate of FISU Healthy Campus puts BSMU, according to the criteria of this organization, on a par with the leading universities of the world.
There are 7 directions and 100 criteria in the basis of evaluation of university campuses. Among which are considered opportunities for students to engage in physical training and sports, provision of proper nutrition, disease prevention, support of social and psychological adaptation and psycho-emotional state of students.
