Following the results of the tenth meeting of ASRMU in Guangzhou, the rectors of the leading medical universities of Russia and China adopted a joint communiqué:

The communiqué provides for the development of new areas of cooperation in the areas of digital and personalized medicine, including the use of artificial intelligence, big data and other advanced technologies. In addition, the universities that are members of the ASRMU will continue to work together in the areas of infectious disease control, food safety and other global health issues.

This will facilitate personnel exchange, mutual recognition of medical education diplomas and development of programs for new specialties.
