On the results of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Endocrinology of the 21st Century: Modern Trends in Diagnostics and Treatment"

June 06, 2024 in BSMU within the framework of realization of the program of strategic academic leadership "Priority-2030" together with the Republican Association of Endocrinologists the international scientific and practical conference "Endocrinology of the 21st century: modern tendencies of diagnostics and treatment" was held in hybrid format. The event was attended by leading endocrinologists from the Russian Federation, Great Britain, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.

The scientific program combined fundamental and practical issues in endocrinology. The reports covered current problems of diagnostics and treatment of endocrine diseases such as diabetes mellitus, acromegaly, iodine deficiency, presented clinical experience of management of patients with diabetes mellitus taking into account global trends in prevention of progression of chronic kidney disease and cardiovascular diseases, considered new risks of development and aggravation of carbohydrate metabolism disorders in modern society.

The guests of the Conference expressed their gratitude and desire for further joint cooperation with BSMU.
