BSMU staff celebrated the Day of Medical Worker

On June 11, the Academic Council was held in the Russian Drama Theater, timed to coincide with the celebration of the Medical Day.

The event was attended by BSMU Rector, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Valentin Pavlov, Head of the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Maxim Zabelin, First Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan Robert Ishtukov, Deputy Head of the Administration of the City of Ufa of the Republic of Bashkortostan Denis Ganiev, members of the Academic Council, faculty and students of Bashkir State Medical University.

- Today is a great holiday for the many thousands of medical workers of the republic, the staff of Bashkir State Medical University and 15 thousand students, who today are receiving the basics of knowledge from us. We are sure that soon all our students will also join the friendly team of medical workers. I would like to convey to you greeting words with wishes of health, development, personal well-being, successes in our activity from two ministers - from the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko and the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov. They asked to pass the best congratulations to our staff, which not only teaches, but also treats, is engaged in scientific research, - congratulated the University staff Rector of BSMU Valentin Pavlov.

The rector noted that the medical university is developing on a large scale both in science and in rendering high-tech assistance to the most severe contingent of patients on the basis of clinics of BSMU and ophthalmologic cluster. Responding to the challenges of time, the university prepares a new shift - new doctors, nurses, clinical psychologists, social workers, biologists: those who tomorrow will come to the health care sector of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

- Bashkir State Medical University is known not only in the Volga Federal District, but also throughout the country and outside the Russian Federation. The university is in demand, and the quality of knowledge is high. The university staff has ambitious plans; you always discuss this at the Academic Council. Today we have a non-standard meeting - it is not only honoring the best in the specialty and profession, but also - the connection of art. After all, medicine is also an art, and it is not by chance that we met with you today in our theater," Maksim Zabelin, Head of the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, addressed the audience.

Honored guests of the festive Academic Council presented awards to the staff of BSMU, among which are Diplomas of Honor of the Republic of Bashkortostan for high professional skill and services in the field of health care, honorary title "Honored Doctor of the Republic of Bashkortostan" for high professional skill and many years of conscientious work, commendations for active participation in the organization and holding of the "All-Russian meeting on topical issues of

development of the system of primary health care in the Russian Federation" and others.

The festive Academic Council ended with a performance based on Alexander Pushkin's story "The young lady-peasant ".
