Foreign students at the Republican Museum of Combat Glory

The cultural and patriotic project "The Living Need Memory", organized by the Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication together with the Dean's Office of the International Faculty and dedicated to Victory Day, included a number of events of different formats. On May 7 there was an excursion to the Republican Museum of Military Glory for foreign students. Students from India, Iran, Pakistan were joined by students from Uzbekistan and other neighboring countries.

For an hour the students examined the museum exhibits. Among them are separate exhibits from the Great Patriotic War (Maxim machine gun, Mosin rifle, parts of Soviet airplanes of the war years, a collection of cold weapons, personal belongings of war participants, battle awards, trophies, front diaries and letters and much more. Of special interest is the collection of photographs reflecting the life of Bashkortostan - the rear area. Dioramas reproducing tragic episodes of history are presented: for example, "Farewell to a Soldier".

Interactive zones of the museum turned out to be very interesting for students: wrecks of tanks protected by glass, on which you can walk, a pool with sand, imitating a search zone, where you can practice excavations.

A separate hall of the museum is dedicated to modern realities - the harsh everyday life of a special military operation. The uniforms, weapons, and dry rations of the parties are presented here. The walls of the hall are decorated with portraits of heroes of the Special Military Operation from Bashkortostan - both those who are currently at the front and those who died while performing their patriotic duty.

The "heart" of the exhibition hall on the first floor was the composition "Letters to the Front". Threads, symbolizing the threads of fate, run through the letters-triangles of the Great Patriotic War.

Students with great attention examined the unique exhibits and listened to the fascinating lecture of the guide. In short, the excursion was very informative, and the visit to the museum once again reminded the students of the heroic past of our country on the eve of Victory Day.
