International Conference of Neurologists and Therapists

An international scientific and practical conference for students of BSMU, neurologists and therapists of Bashkortostan, Russia and CIS countries was successfully held in a hybrid format on 25.4.24 under the chairmanship of the head of the Department of Hospital Therapy #2 Bulat Bakirov.

The conference was opened by the guest of the conference from Kaliningrad, Professor Igor Reverchuk. Professors Bulat Bakirov and Leila Akhmadeeva, heads of neurology departments from Samarkand, Shymkent and Gomel with their students and Chairman of the Medical Chamber of the Republic of Bashkortostan Azamat Baitimerov acted as lecturers.

In addition to full-time participants, 75 online connection points were registered.

The most pressing issues of neurology and therapy were discussed, including amyloidosis, diabetes mellitus, pain syndromes, neurodegenerative, vascular diseases of the nervous system, such new concepts in neurology as inflamaging and brain interactions with the gastrointestinal tract and other systems.

The event was organized on the initiative of the University Scientific and educational center "Psychology, Pedagogy, Neurology, Neurorehabilitation" with the invitation of colleagues from the Neftekamsk Medical District.

The next educational event under the NOC PPN program will be held on May 15, 2024 under the leadership of Professor Ildar Lutfarakhmanov. We invite all interested parties. The topic of the conference is "Pain, psycho- and somatoneurological syndromes in the practice of a neurologist." It starts at 15:00 Ufa time. The full-time part will be held in Ufa at the address: Komsomolskaya str., 133/1, national medical holding "Medstandart", 2nd floor, lecture hall. The conference will be attended by lecturers from Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.
