BSMU received international accreditation of five specialist’s educational programs

An external expert commission of the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency (IAAR) worked at the University from October 31 to November 2, 2023. The experts conducted specialized accreditation according to international standards WFME.

On December 08 the University received international accreditation of 5 specialist’s educational programs 31.05.01 General Medicine, 31.05.03 Dentistry, 31.05.02 Pediatrics, 32.05.01 Preventive Medicine, 33.05.01 Pharmacy. All programs are accredited for 5 years.

Obtaining accreditation guarantees recognition of the University's degrees and eligibility for ECFMG (The Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) certification.) This is necessary for obtaining further medical education or medical license abroad, while the qualifications that graduates will receive will be fully qualified and recognized throughout the European Higher Education Area.
