International mini-football tournament among foreign students of BSMU dedicated to the beginning of the academic year was held at BSMU

The tournament was held on September 10, 2023 in the sport complex of BSMU №10. Judges and organizers - Department of Physical Education. Teams of students from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, India, African countries, Egypt and Turkmenistan took part in it. According to the heat of passion, level of play, commitment of players, the competition can be considered a "mini championship" of the world. Expectations were justified.

The teams were divided by lot into two groups, where they played each against each other. The teams with the most points fought for the prizes.

In the match for 3-4 place met the teams of India (No.1) and Turkmenistan. The match turned out to be very persistent, and the main time ended in a draw. In the penalty shootout the representatives of India were more accurate and luckier.

The final was very spectacular. The teams of students from Tajikistan (No. 2) and Tajikistan (No. 1) competed for the title of champion. Both teams showed technical and very beautiful game. The second team was stronger.

The winners and prize winners were awarded with diplomas and cups.

Foreign students studying at BSMU get not only knowledge, but also spend their free time with benefit. The university management pays great attention to the organization of leisure time of foreign students. Today more than 500 foreign students of BSMU are regularly engaged in mini-football. According to the results of competitions the national team of foreign students of BSMU on mini-football will be formed.
