Dear doctors, nurses, healthcare system workers, teachers, BSMU staff, residents and students!
Please accept my warmest congratulations and wishes on your professional holiday – the Day of the Medical Worker!
Medical workers are people of high moral principles, devoted to the profession. All of them are a vivid example of selfless service to people, fulfillment of their professional and civic duty.
We live and work in an age of rapid development and introduction of innovative technologies. Successfully applying the achievements of modern healthcare, we do not forget that the foundation of our profession is patient and benevolent attitude to patients, mercy and compassion. Today we are facing serious, time-demanded tasks: solving the personnel issue, developing the quality of primary health care, increasing the duration of a healthy life – these are just some of them that we have to solve.
Each of us contributes to medical science, education and clinical practice, takes care of the health of the citizens of the republic.
Dear friends! I wish you inexhaustible energy, further success and victories, professional growth, spiritual harmony, family warmth and good health!
Rector of BSMU, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valentin Pavlov.
