International Cricket Tournament

Last week, an open international cricket tournament among student teams of universities of the Russian Federation was held in the Dynamo Sports Complex.
In addition to two teams from Bashkir State Medical University, teams from Kazan State Medical University and Ryazan State Medical University attended the event , Chuvash State University , Bashkir State Pedagogical University.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, MD, Professor Valishin D.A., opening the event and launching the first ball, noted, "Any physical activity trains willpower, endurance and forms a person's personality. Usually, doing any kind of sports, a person strives to achieve concrete results. With the help of sports, a person struggles with laziness, doubts, strives to become better and stronger."

It turned out that there are many students from the Republic of India among cricket fans. The students of this country consider cricket to be a national sport. And before the competition, training courses were held.

In an interview for the BST TV channel, the students said that "Cricket is life. You train here, improve your physical condition, and this affects your academic performance."

According to the results of the competition , the 1st place was awarded to the team of the Chuvash State University ;
2nd place – Bashkir State Medical University No. 1;
3rd place – Kazan State Medical University;
4th place – Bashkir State Medical University No. 2;
5th place – Ryazan State Medical University and Saratov State Medical University . ;
6th place — Bashkir State Pedagogical University
The best in the nominations:
"Best Striker" — Sharya Pratap Singh (Chuvash State University ).
"The best player" — Lone Sahil Ramzan (Bashkir State Medical University).
