More than 200 specialists took part in this conference, representatives from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and other countries gathered. The delegation from the Russian Federation was headed by the President of the NGO "Euro-Asian Society for Infectious Diseases" Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Yuri Vladimirovich Lobzin. The conference was actively attended by: Vice-President of the NGO "Euro-Asian Society for Infectious Diseases" Valery Mikhailovich Volzhanin; members of the Presidium of the NGO "Euro-Asian Society for Infectious Diseases" member-correspondent. RAS Andrey Semyonovich Simbirtsev and Professor Dmitry Anatolyevich Lioznov; Executive Director of the NGO "Euro-Asian Society for Infectious Diseases" Mikhail Fedorovich Lebedev. The organizers of the conference were: the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Medical Academy, Urgench branch of Tashkent Medical Academy, NGO "Euro-Asian Society for Infectious Diseases", the Moscow Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after G.N. Gabrichevsky. Inoyatov Amrillo Shodievich, Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, welcomed the participants with an introductory speech.
