Students of BSMU became prize-winners of the All-Russian mas-wrestling competition in memory of Olympic champion R.M. Dmitriev in Moscow

The competition was held in Moscow on the basis of the I.S. Yarygin Wrestling Palace. 109 participants from 17 regions of the Russian Federation took part in it. The honor of the Republic of Bashkortostan was defended by 18 athletes, including 8 students of BSMU.

BSMU students showed willpower, high skill and won prizes:

2nd place - up to 90 kg among men Ibrahim Diyab Salem Mohamed (L-204 B ) student of Bashkir State Medical University. Coach — senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Culture of BSMU Ishmukhametov Ilgam Zinnurovich.

3rd place -up to 80kg among men Elsakhavi Mustafa Ahmed (St-402 A in) student of Bashkir State Medical University. Coach — senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Culture of BSMU Ishmukhametov Ilgam Zinnurovich.

3rd place – up to 75 kg among men Elashri Tarek Ahmed Ibrahim (L-404 A in) student of Bashkir State Medical University. Coach — Head of the Department of Physical Culture of BSMU Gainullin Ruslan Anvarovich.

3rd place up to 75 kg among women Muzipova Azaliya (P-208 B) student of Bashkir State Medical University. Coach — senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Culture of BSMU Ishmukhametov Ilgam Zinnurovich.

3rd place up to 85 kg Buludyan Milena (L-423 B) student of Bashkir State Medical University. Coach — Head of the Department of Physical Culture of BSMU Gainullin Ruslan Anvarovich.

3rd place up to 85+ Saidova Muslimakhon (St-207 B) student of Bashkir State Medical University. Coach — Head of the Department of Physical Culture of BSMU Gainullin Ruslan Anvarovich.

The winners and prize-winners were awarded with prizes, medals and diplomas.

The BSMU team expresses its great gratitude to the Rector of BSMU, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valentin Pavlov for the opportunity given to students,

also from among foreign citizens, to engage in mas-wrestling and perform in All-Russian and international competitions.

The basic university of the Republic of Bashkortostan in mas-wrestling is BSMU, where more than 200 students are engaged. In 2022, medical students became winners and prize-winners of the World Mass wrestling Championship in Yakutia, prize-winners of the Russian Championship and winners of the PFD competitions. The first Republic Cup among universities was organized on the basis of BSMU.
