Prof. Zagidullin N.S. took part in the Congress of the American College of Cardiology in 2023

The annual Congress of the American College of Cardiology, which was held on March 4-6 in the United States, has come to an end. (New Orleans). This year, a number of topical clinical studies in various fields of cardiology, X-ray vascular surgery, arrhythmology, preventive medicine and others were presented. Another one of the world's most famous annual cardiology forums and this year it was held jointly with the World Heart Federation and gathered more than 15,000 participants.

Head of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases, Prof. N.S. Zagidullin (BSMU, Ufa) delivered report "Serum biomarkers hs-TnI and sST-2 predict long-term risk for cardiovascular events in discharged hospitalized COVID-19 survivors" and had a poster "The relevance of epicardial adipose tissue in the assessment of cardiometabolic risk" . The last report was carried out within the grant 21-75-00065 of the Russian Science Foundation (head of the Assoc., PhD Mustafina I.A.).

Prof. Zagidullin N.S. was the only one who made a report from the Russian Federation at this Congress.
