BSMU mini-football team became the best among medical and pharmaceutical universities of the Volga Federal District of Russia and reached the All-Russian final

Competitions within the framework of the second stage of the I Spartakiad among medical and pharmaceutical universities of Russia "Physical culture and sport – the second profession of a doctor" were held on March 1-2, 2023 on the basis of USC BSMU No. 10. The opening ceremony was attended by: the head of the Department of Physical Culture of BSMU Ruslan Gainullin, the chief judge of the competition – the representative of the Football Federation of the Republic of Bashkortostan Vladimir Voronin, the head of the sports club of BSMU Rail Abzalilov and the participants. After the presentation of letters of thanks to the rectors who sent the national teams to participate, the official start of the competition was given. 8 teams representing the following universities took part in the mini-football competitions: Bashkir State Medical University, Izhevsk State Medical Academy, Saratov State Medical University named after V.I. Razumovsky, Perm State Medical University, Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy, Kirov State Medical University, Orenburg State Medical University, Kazan State Medical University. The teams were divided into two groups. From each group

two teams advanced to the semifinals. BSMU team beat Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy team in the semifinals and reached the final. In the decisive match, the national team of our University beat the national team of Saratov State Medical University and qualified for the All-Russian Final as the champion of the Volga Federal District. Thus, BSMU team repeated its success three years ago. The final will take place at the end of April in Voronezh. We sincerely congratulate the athletes and coach, teacher of the Department of Physical Culture of BSMU Amozov Evgeny Valentinovich and wish new victories.

The winners and prize-winners were awarded with medals and diplomas. Also, the best in the nominations were determined.

The competition ended with a photo shoot.

Team standings 1st place – Bashkir State Medical University; 2nd place – Saratov State Medical University named after V.I. Razumovsky;

3rd place – Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy; 4th place – Kirov State Medical University; 5th place – Izhevsk State Medical Academy;

6th place — Perm State Medical University;

7th place — Kazan State Medical University;

8th place — Orenburg State Medical University. The best in the nominations

"The best player" — Aidar Mamleev (Bashkir State Medical University);

"The best goalkeeper" — Mikhail Petrenko (Saratov State Medical University named after V.I. Razumovsky);

"The best defender" — Amankwa Emmanuel (Kirov State Medical University);

"Audience Award" — Mahiawi Fahd (Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy).
