BENEFICIAL WINTER VACATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

That was the slogan of the "Useful Vacations" program which became traditional in BSMU.  

During winter vacations for foreign students BSMU held the following winter schools: 

• "Biology - the way to medicine",  
• "Dentistry is my passion",  
• "Emergency",  
• "Human anatomy",  
• "Surge. Skills",  
• "Basics of general histology",  
• "Basics of Pharmaceutical Technology",  
• "Experimental workshop"  
• master class on regenerative ophthalmology "Current Problems of Ophthalmology".  

Schools and master-classes have high efficiency in systematization and deepening of knowledge, development and perfection of core courses skills, increase of students’ activity. It is encouraging that the number of university departments involved in winter and summer educational schools increases every season. The Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication conducted a series of educational and cultural and leisure activities, which were also actively attended by international students. In addition to the educational events held at the university, the outreach winter school was organized on the basis of the Yazykovo central district hospital, where students not only consolidated practical skills, but also took part in a number of cultural and mass events of Blagovarsky district of our republic.
