In order to expand international relations and interuniversity cooperation in the field of science and education, as part of the implementation of the strategic academic leadership program "Priority 2030", on October 27-28, 2022, an international scientific and practical conference "New in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of socially significant infections" was held in the halls of the Toratau Congress Hall. The conference was organized by Bashkir State Medical University and the Euro-Asian Society for Infectious Diseases.

The conference heard young scientists on the results of their work on PhD theses. A poster presentation competition was held. In just two days of the conference, 136 reports were presented. 1,468 people from different cities of Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and China participated in the conference face-to-face and remotely.
The conference participants noted that the program was extremely rich, the reports were informative and interesting. As a result of the conference, a collection of scientific papers was published, and agreements were reached on conducting joint research, development and scientific events.
