Enriching the education of foreign students at our university with an educational function has long determined the vector of development of educational work with foreign students. Therefore, all foreign students of our university regularly visit museums, exhibitions, excursions, theaters of Ufa, acquiring not only professional knowledge and skills in the process of studying at BSMU, but also expanding their horizons, erudition, integrating into the cultural space of Russia.
In October, the cycle of educational projects "Russian art of the 18th-20th centuries", "Bashkortostan" came to an end: at the junction of cultures and epochs", "Our common home is the Earth", "Ufa is diverse", organized for our foreign students by the Department of Russian Language, Linguistics and International Communication and the Dean's Office of the International Faculty. Foreign students visited excursions and museums of the city of Ufa, immersing themselves in the history, culture, natural and ethno-cultural features of both the Republic of Bashkortostan and the whole of Russia, getting acquainted not only with museums included in the well-known cultural minimum of Ufa, but also with others that go beyond the aforementioned "minimum", because students of BSMU always strive for the maximum.
Our foreign students visited the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Memorial House-Museum named after S.T.Aksakov, the Bashkir State Museum named after N.V. Nesterov, the Museum of the Forest named after M.H. Abdulov, the Museum of Polar Explorers Albanov V.I., the Museum of Archeology and Ethnography, the Interactive Museum "Russia is my History", the Ufa Lemonary, the Botanical Garden and other wonderful places of our city. In total, more than thirty groups of medical and dental faculties and more than five hundred students took part in the project aimed at improving the effectiveness of adaptation of students, cultural and historical development of students, popularization of Russian culture.
None of the numerous participants remained indifferent to what they saw, everyone saw something of their own in the culture of Russia and Bashkortostan, and the heritage of Russia and Bashkortostan in their own national culture.
