The summer educational school for foreign students "Basics of Oral Surgery" has completed its work

Since 2021, at Bashkir State Medical University, on the initiative of international students, the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Dentistry and the Dean's Office for international students have established a tradition of conducting educational schools for students in various disciplines of dentistry during long holidays.

In 2022, the summer school were organized for the second time, the final Summer School was dedicated to maxillofacial surgery. The moderator of the school was the assistant of the Department of Surgical Dentistry and maxillofacial surgery Dr. Romuald Deffo.

In the theoretical part of the master classes, the anatomy of the head and neck, the tools and equipment used were discussed. The practical part designed to work out the acquired knowledge, this part included classes on surgical suturing, classes on extraction of teeth of the upper and lower jaw.

Modern equipment, the availability of the necessary materials and models - all this made it possible to conduct the practical part of the master classes at the highest level
