A meeting with student activists from among foreigners was held at BSMU

The Dean's Office for International Students held meeting with leaders and activists. The meeting was opened by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Alexander Tsyglin. In his speech, Alexander Alexandrovich congratulated students on the successful end of the academic year, and also presented diplomas and medals to the winners of the VI South Ural Interregional Student Olympiad in General Physics and wished them further success.

At the meeting with the activists, they presented the report on the international students’ summer hospital practice outside the city of Ufa, conducted within the framework of the "Summer of Achievements" program, which was launched on the initiative of Valentin Pavlov, Rector, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This program carries not only the main educational, but also an additional load - acquaintance of international students with our Republic. Thus, students from among foreign citizens underwent internships in such towns as Tuymazy, Sterlitamak, Blagoveshchensk, Kaltasy and Yazykovo.

The results of the summer examination session and the program of the new academic year were discussed at the meeting. The students were also reminded of the requirements of the passport and visa regime and the rules for the presence of foreign citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Due to the beginning of the summer holidays, instructions on safety rules in hostels, rules of behavior on the water and traffic rules were also given.
