Issues on education export were discussed at the International Business Week – 2020

On December 8, Ufa launched the International business week – 2020, which will last until December 11 and will bring together speakers from different countries and several thousand online participants. The forum will be held in a hybrid online and offline format.

The business program includes thematic sessions on small and medium-sized businesses in the regions of the SCO and BRICS member countries, entrepreneurship in Russia, tourism, economy and exports. The forum will allow to accumulate the best practices and develop new mechanisms to support entrepreneurs in the post-Soviet era.

One of the growth factors of non-resource exports is the education export.

Valentin N. Pavlov,  rector, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, told about the experience of Bashkir State Medical University. BSMU is the leader in the Republic in terms of the number of international students. BSMU partners are the leading universities in Austria, Germany, China, and Kazakhstan.

Li Fan, President of the Norman Bethune Scientific Center for Health of Jilin University, made the report at the meeting. Jilin University is a partner University of BSMU, which has been cooperating since 2016 in the areas of Infectious diseases, Oncology, and Cardiology.

Alexander Sidyakin, the head of the administration of the Head of Bashkortostan, moderated the event was.
