Students of BSMU in Dresden

In the framework of cooperation between Bashkir State Medical University and Medical Faculty Carl Gustav Carus at the Technical University Dresden, this summer two 3rd year students of BSMU Leysan Migranova and Galina Gimazetdinova had an internship in Dresden, Germany. They decided to go to a psychiatric clinic: Leysan worked in the clinical units and Galina worked in the day-patient department.

Every morning started with a meeting where doctors delivered their reports on the night shift. It was followed by a morning round and a discussion of further treatment. Our students could choose what to do next: look after the patients or help nurses with their work.

“We got the chance to learn something new and gain an invaluable experience”, - shared their impressions Galina and Leisan.

During the internship they also had an opportunity to get to know the city of Dresden and its sightseeings.
