Rector of Bashkir State Medical University has received the title of Honorary citizen of Ufa

Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of Bashkir State Medical University, became an Honorary citizen of Ufa. The city Council awarded him this title "for outstanding achievements in the field of Medical Science, Education, and Healthcare".

Deputies singled out his work during the coronavirus pandemic. In the spring, the COVID hospital was deployed on the basis of BSMU Clinic, where not only doctors worked but medical students also took part. In early October, BSMU Clinic resumed receiving patients with coronavirus infection. Currently, the hospital has 150 beds of infectious diseases.
