Online lectures at the Department of neurology according to the international academic mobility program

According to the orders of BSMU and previously made announcements, the Department of neurology completed the lecture weeks within the framework of the international academic mobility program. In accordance to the program Cynthia Robinson, MD, from the University of Washington (USA), presented lectures to BSMU students, and Professor Leila Akhmadeeva conducted a course of lectures on General and Private Neurology for students of the Marat Ospanov Western Kazakhstan Medical University.

Cooperation continues: on September 24 and 25, 2020, Professor Leyla Akhmadeeva delivered the lecture and the study case at the international scientific and practical conference organized by the Marat Ospanov Western Kazakhstan Medical University. Professor Leyla Akhmadeeva dedicated them to the 70th anniversary of Professor Bekbolat Zholdin.

In addition, on September 24, 2020, the International Multidisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference on prosopalgia and pain in the head and neck was successfully held. Representatives of Bashkir State Medical University, the Marat Ospanov Western Kazakhstan Medical University and the Samarkand Medical Institute attended it. The conference was organized in an online format. Professor-dentist Larisa Gerasimova, Professor-otorhinolaryngologist Elena Savelyeva and Professor-neurologist Leila Akhmadeeva performed on behalf of BSMU. The entire program was successfully completed and brought together more than 100 participants from among students and teachers of BSMU and medical professionals from different cities of Russia and CIS countries. In a number of cities, that conference was attended by medicos gathered in hospital lecture halls, like in the cities of Neftekamsk, Oktyabrsky, and Durtyuli.
