All-Russian conference “Molecular diagnostics in clinical and reproductive medicine: traditions and innovations”

On September 19, 2020, Bashkir State Medical University hosted the all-Russian scientific and practical online conference Molecular diagnostics in clinical and reproductive medicine: traditions and innovations.

Professor Valentin N. Pavlov, rector of BSMU, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech.

The conference was attended by the leading experts from five Russian cities: Professor S.I. Gamidov, head of the Department of andrology and urology at the V.I. Kulakov National Research Medical Center; Professor M. I. Kogan, head of the Department of urology and reproductive health with the course of pediatric urology-andrology at Rostov State Medical University; Professor V.A. Bozhedomov, scientific Director of the Clinic Man's health of the Medical Research and Educational center at M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University; Professor I. A. Korneev, Director of the International Center of Reproductive Medicine; A. F. Saifitdinova, head of the Assisted Reproductive Technology Laboratory (Saint Petersburg); Professor N.B. Zakharova, Department of urology at V. I. Razumovsky Saratov State Medical University, senior researcher of the Institute of medical and biological problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Professor D.S.  Gromenko (Ufa), Director of the Family medical center; Professor A. F. Amirov, head of the Department of pedagogy and psychology at BSMU.

Professor Sh. N. Galimov, head of the Department of biochemistry of BSMU, moderated the conference. As part of the conference, modern approaches to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of infertility, the introduction of predictive technologies in reproductive medicine were considered, issues of preimplantation genetic diagnosis of hereditary diseases, interaction of patients, geneticists, reproductologists and embryologists were discussed. Special attention was paid to the topics of oncourology, oncogynecology and associated pathology.
