Neurology lectures in BSMU with the participation of an American Professor

On September 4, 2020, Professor Leyla Akhmadeeva (BSMU) and Dr. Cynthia Robinson (University of Washington, USA) began to give a series of online lectures on Neurology for international 4th year students of the General Medicine faculty in English. Students from different countries listened with great interest to the positions of American and Russian specialists, watched clinical demonstrations and illustrations, including video clips with comments from lecturers, and asked questions.

It should be reminded, that Doctor Cynthia Robinson has been teaching at our University for many years, and a Memorandum of cooperation has been signed between Bashkir State Medical University and the University of Washington. However, since this year, Cynthia Robinson began to give classes according to the classical curriculum and schedule.

During September 14 joint lectures are planned at the Neurology department.

The University of Washington, according to the data posted on their website on August 27, 2020, is the 3rd in the world in the ranking of public universities and the 16th among 1,397 universities ranked in the world. Of the Russian universities, the highest (189m) place with a large margin from all the other universities mentioned there is the Lomonosov Moscow State University.
