On 19 August 2020, Samarkand State Medical Institute and Bashkir State Medical University had organized one more international online webinar, which raised a rather relevant and interesting topic – The Modern Paradigm of Inclusive Education. The speakers were associate Professor O. G. Afanasieva and Professor V. U. Sataev.
The purpose of the webinar was to discuss theoretical and organizational aspects of the development of inclusive education at the current stage.
Entering into the world educational space requires a new look at the education system. Every year the number of children with special educational needs increases, and in order to meet the needs of society, it is necessary to maintain a culture of inclusive education. This phenomenon is quite new, and it is only beginning to take shape in the practice of education.
The speakers discussed the history of inclusion in Russia, the concept and principles of development, as well as the difficulties in implementing inclusion in education.
The subject matter drew attention of the listeners and participants of the webinar, who lively discussed it. Therefore, it was decided to submit conceptual issues for discussion and organize a round table, which was held on 22 August.
The Pediatric Surgery department (Prof. Yusupov Sh. A., MD, head of the Department,) and the Internal Diseases department №3 (Assoc. Prof. Shodikulova G. Z., MD, head of the department) organized the webinar.
