BSMU takes part in the expanded meeting of the Permanent Council of the Russian-Chinese Association of Medical Universities

On April 30, the expanded online meeting of the Permanent Council of the Russian-Chinese Association of Medical Universities (RCAMU) is dedicated to organizational approaches and clinical solutions in the fight against the new coronavirus infection.

According to the World Health Organization’s data for April 2020, the main factors of the new COVID-19 coronavirus infection are speed, scale, explosive nature and deep social and economic consequences, as well as a high degree of severity – at least 20% of cases are severe or critical when it comes to patients with comorbidities.

The Russian and Chinese clinicians, doctors, scientists, and healthcare organizers discussed how to provide adequate care to patients, develop a treatment strategy, and transform University clinics to meet the global challenges of fighting the pandemic.
